Hello everyone, My name is Jennifer Carver and I am honored to be a part of Dripping Springs Elementary School this year. I will be teaching the 2nd Grade Bilingual class and look forward to working with your children. My goal is to bridge the gaps in learning and solidify the learning foundation of each child. I was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico and later moved to Texas when I was 5 years old. For my Bilingual class I plan to implement interactive lesson plans with visuals, manipulatives, games, and engaging activities so the students can make connections while having fun.
*Education: I have a Bachelors of Science in Health Administration and an Associates of Science in Environmental Science. I am currently working on my Educator Certification through Region XIII to teach Bilingual students Early Childhood through 6th grade. Throughout my first year of teaching both Dripping Springs Elementary School and Region XIII will provide me with support, observations, and professional development to ensure a successful year. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at anytime regarding any concerns and/or suggestions you may have.
*Family: I have been married for almost 7 years now to my wonderful Husband. Together we have a beautiful daughter named Athena who is 5 years old. She is the light of our life and I love being a Mom! We also have a four legged baby named Spartacus. He is an American Hairless Terrier.
*Hobbies: I enjoying cooking food with my daughter, spending time with my family, and going to the movies.
